Your screenshot shows you’re running PostgreSQL v18 with PokerTracker 4.17.12. Support for PostgreSQL v18 was added with the release of PokerTracker 4.18.17, and you’re currently on version 4.17.12, which predates it. You have two options:
1. Install a compatible PostgreSQL versionUninstall PostgreSQL 18 and install PostgreSQL 12, which is the most recent version of PostgreSQL that is compatible with your current version of PT4. You can download PostgreSQL 12 for macOS from
here.
Note: PostgreSQL 12 is an Intel build. If you’re on an Intel Mac, the following does not apply however if you’re on an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) it will run via Rosetta - Rosetta is already present on most Macs, but if you’re on macOS 27 (Golden Gate), which removed Rosetta, you’ll need to install it first. You can install it by opening Terminal and running:
- Code: Select all
softwareupdate --install-rosetta
It's possible that Rosetta support will end with the release of macOS 28 so PostgreSQL 12 may not work at all following the next major macOS update.
2. Update PokerTracker 4Updating to the latest version of PT4 would add support for PostgreSQL 18. However, this would require a
non-expired Support & Maintenance plan.
