Rejoin table stat

I'd like to build a stat that displays me whether I've left and join the same table.
I thought about quering the DB asking whether the table id is already present in the DB, how can I do it?

Commenting on the feasibility of or building such a query is beyond my SQL knowledge I'm afraid.
