"Edit Existing HUD Color Range Name" Should be Displayed

When editing a color range, the colors are there but the name is not. You have to select it in a list.

More so when creating many more HUD stats and color ranges.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean? When you've selected a previously saved color range the name is shown while you're editing colors.

If I select Edit HUD profiles option and then the HUD profile Editor window pops up.

Now If I select a stat within a group and select Color Ranges, the colors are displayed for each value, but the Color Range name is blank (Presets - New - Blank).

If I want to edit the color range, I have to select it from the list, edit it then save it.

I was suggesting that the Color Range name would automatically be displayed for that specific stat.

I see - I'll mention it to the development team, but I'm not sure how practical that is. If it were linked to a stat within a profile like that then it would have to update all stats using that saved condition set, but it doesn't work like that. All you're doing currently is applying the set of colours to a stat - it doesn't update that stat's colours if you change the set elsewhere (as far as I'm aware anyway).

I must have been using this incorrectly since I have created huge amount of color ranges with added abbreviations instead of hunting down the required range.

So all I need to do is edit the color range and hit apply and it saves it. I thought I had to create a color range and save it for the stat color to be saved permanently.

I got lost with this somewhere but I understand now.
