However, I'm very curious to find out what situation you aren't able to build using the built in filters - if you don't feel comfortable posting here, please PM me what you're trying to build. I'd like to find out what it is.
e.g.
[*] Player A 3Bet 22,33,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o versus Player B which is very loose (VPIP/PFR:67/38) and aggressive (3Bet 60% FoldTo3Bet 0%).
Note for this will be as follow:
3Bet range {22,33,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o}Of course this is a
value 3Bet,
well done against this player because you have an edge with 22,33,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o against his range of 67% and because he doesn't fold to 3Bet at all so you should put more money into the pot by 3Betting him.
[*] After a while, at the same table with the same players:
Player A 3Bet
55,66,77 against Player C which is very tight player: VPIP/PFR: 5/5 and aggressive (3Bet 100% FoldTo3Bet 0%).
Note will be updated now and it will look as follow:
3Bet range {22,33,55,66,77,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o}The problem is that this one is a clearly mistake because he is 3Betting a NIT player which plays QQ+ only with 55. And of course he doesn't fold to 3bet because he plays only very good hands so even he doesn't fold to 3bet with 55 you shouldn't do a 3Bet here because it wouldn't be for value in this case.
[*] After some other hands, Player A 3Bets Player D with
72o,Q3o,96s,98s,K2s,J8s. Player D is like player B in the first situation but his fold to 3Bet is 100%. This is why Player A is 3Betting him with any of these hands.
The problem is that note will be updated now and it will look as follow:
3Bet range {22,33,55,66,77,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o,72o,Q3o,96s,98s,K2s,J8s} ....................................................................................................................................................
The final note for Player A will be:
3Bet range {22,33,55,66,77,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o,72o,Q3o,96s,98s,K2s,J8s}Which confuses you and make you to think that Player A is a stupid donk which plays loose and aggro and 3Bets you with basically anything while the thing are not like this way: as you can see above he plays bad against the NIT player C but he plays in a very good and exploitative way against Player B and D. That's why you should be aware of this player because he is not a stupid donk, he is a very good player.
For doing this note against this player should be:
3Bet range against LAG {VPIP/PFR:67/38} which do not fold to 3Bet or fold {60%} {22,33,A2s,JTo,KTo,K9o}Of course you will see the note and you will understand this is for value.
Another note:
3Bet range against NIT {VPIP/PFR 5/5} {55,66,77}Of course you will see this and you will think to exploit this, because this is a mistake.
And another note:
3Bet range against LAG (like in the first case) which Folds to 3bet 100%{72o,Q3o,96s,98s,K2s,J8s} You will see this note and you will understand that this is not a leak of his play.
..................................................................................................................................................
This is just an example but there could be also more postflop situations which implies the use of other stats in your note definitions. That is why you need to use stats as well as player types and player types alone are not enough.
Hope you will understand now why this is so necessary.
Thank you !
