HUD effective StackSize Filter

There is a great hud filter implemented that filters for our opponents stack size.

Now it would be good to have a filter as well, where we can filter 3bet values for effektive stack sizes,
to capture the situation: We play 40bb stack, villain plays 100b, we open, villain 3bets us.

He will play a different range vs 40bb stacks than vs 100bb stacks.

It would be great to see that feature implemented in the hud.

When those filters are enabled, all stats filter for hands where effective stack sizes match the filter - if a player has 100BB and his deepest opponent has 40BB his effective stack is 40BB and will be treated as such. This applies to all stats - including 3bet stats and others.

For anybody else finding this thread, these filters are configured on the Hud -> Edit Hud Options -> General page.

It would be genius if you could allow in the hud stat options to have preferences for effective stacksize in the cashgame hud.
This way you can just turn on the stacksize filter for stats where villains game plan changes depending on stack size: 3bet, fold to 3bet ... squeeze... coldcall
villain probably does not change his openraising range much, just because there is one 40bb stack behind him. :D

Yes it's just for tournaments - these considerations are much more important for tournament players as I'm sure you can imagine.

One thing you could do though if you just want specific stats is build custom statistics to match your specific situations. The techniques explained here more or less work for you I think - you'd need to use PT4 cash columns rather than PT3 tournament ones but the ideas are still there.

Filters for stack sizes are great, however sometimes when you have no information from to few hands you need some information to go off, could you possibly make it so when you double click to get session stats it could show his overall stats instead?

I'll make a note to request some sort of option like that. Would something in the right click menu work for you also?

Really the general filter is a effective filter?
So what happens if the Stacks are

CO 40bb
BU Player 100bb
SB 50bb
BB 70bb

Will this match into an example filter like "player has 80-100bb" on the left side and then on the right side "show 30-50bb". So the right side is effective and the player's hud would only show hands where he had 80 to 100bb but efftive played with 40bb?

In other words: are both sides of the Confi page "effective"? So Player Stack 5-10 BB means effective 5-10 BB ? so if Player has 6 BB but all other have less than 4 BB, it(5-10 BB) wont match for Player even though he has 6 BB?

I believe that general filter uses the effective stack method used in PT3 - the smaller of either your stack or the biggest opponent stack at the table. We can't know who folds prior to your action in a given hand but we do know what the stack sizes were at the end of last hand. So in your example we would use the 70BB value for the player on the button.
