Changing how table session stats look

It makes it harder to read the stats, compared to lifetime stats. Can this be customized by the user, like another color, or just a doubleclick on the hud or something?

That color isn't customizable at this point in time, but I'll make a note to look into whether that's something we could do for you.

I think that if they did put in some functionality that let you change the background color for session stats wouldn't really solve all that much if your using color ranges for your stats. It's going to be difficult if not impossible to choose a background that will contrast well with multiple stat colors. Perhpas changing the shade of a color would work but it would need to be subtle and that could actually be automated by having PT 4 sampling the color value and slightly altering it's luminosity just enough to be a subtle difference. As for changing the color itself the only way it could be done is if they also added functionality to have two groups for your stat color ranges, for ex. In group 1 you selelct color ranges for your stats to suite the live time stats. Group 2 for your session stats. The main draw back would be that it would be confuseing to remember 2 different color ranges for the same set of stats not to mention the effort that would have to be put in place for somthing that isn't going to be all that affective IMO. I think a better solution would be to:-

a) introduce a border that doesn't interfere with the border put in place from the notes
b) Make the notes border flash or glow in the same color that was set in the notes or if no note color is assigned then use a default color
c) Make the whole stats window more bold when the mouse pointer is rolled over the stats
d) A small symbol on the outer edge of the stats window to denote the two different states

Good point, thanks

I like all your suggestions except c), because I already use a bold font and use mouseover to view the number of instances vs opportunities of a certain stat:

That would be how I see d) implemented. I think attaching the symbol to the (abbreviated) hands stat makes sense.

That's an interesting suggestion though I could see people who don't know better not realizing what that meant. But maybe we could work with the idea . . . thanks for the ideas!

Has this feature been implemented yet? I can't see didly-squat when I'm just looking at session stats.

I think making the session stat background a darker red (almost black) color may be better. I'm pretty sure everyone uses a dark background for their huds, and changing the color only slightly is not a risk of confusing your overall stats with your session stats since having the yellow border makes it very obvious when your session stats are the ones showing.

If you set Transparent Background to False for all your stats, you will not see the red color.

1. Right clicking brings up the session stats option only when a layout is locked, this is disappointing.
When a layout is unlocked a right click(and hold) is identical to a left click (and hold) as it allows the stats to be re-positioned.
This redundancy is unnecessary and the ease of use of a valuable feature is lost.
Please change this so right clicking always brings up the session stats option

2.I find yellow overbearing/distracting, i would prefer a grey or blue border for session stats (or an entirely different method of indication session stats are active.)
Could we have the option to choose the border for session stats?
seems like a fairly easy option to implement
(perhaps there is even a config file somewhere that specifies the RGB color coordinates of that (yellow) border that a user could already manually edit if they were inclined to?)

3. Players "color tagged" lose that distinction while session stats are selected, could that be addressed?
Off the top of my head eliminating the (yellow) outer border and only changing the BG is the simplest way of keeping color tags during session stats being selected but the off color background may not be enough for some people (at least at its current color/intensity)
