Goal Setting

Postby RayWilson » Wed Jul 11, 2012 11:25 am

Hello,

Pokertracker is aready a remarkable tool for working on your game, finding leaks, reviewing hand histories and doing equity calculations etc. It lets you write notes against hands which is a useful feature to help solidify the concepts you're learning. I was thinking that it would be good if there was some mechanism in Pokertracker for setting personal poker-related goals and using the data in the system to track the progression where possible. For example maybe you want to (off the top of my head):

* Play a certain amount of hands in a week/month.
* Tighten up your starting hand selection range from what you played over the last four months.
* Increase the amount of value bets you make.
* Reduce the amount of stone-cold bluffs you make
* Anything from your stats in LeakTracker that you need to work on .

This information is probably all available in reports but it would be good if there was some kind of dash overview you could look at rather than calculating how well you are achieving your goals yourself.

That's an interesting suggestion - I'll make note of it and bring it up with the development team at the appropriate juncture.
