My Reports / New Reports Overwrite?

Not sure if I am making a mistake or a suggestion.

I create a new report and save it. I then edit it later, but would like to just add a "+1" to the original report to see the result. PT4 won't let me and overwrites it.

Do you mean that you want to make a copy of a custom report?
To do that click the grey disk icon (just below the report name field) and choose Duplicate Report. You will then be able to change the name and save it as a separate report.
