PT 4.01.19 Equity Calculator: add direct range keyboard

Hi,

Suggestion:
Add a box where one can manually from keyboard input villains range %

Example:
Villain raises 12% of hands. With this method there is a box where one can manually input 12%.

Now:
Villain raises 12% of hands. User click “Sel”, User click “Hand Range..”, User slides the correct range or user selects the box and the text and inputs manually the range.

Making it even better:
Box for exclude range too.

Why?
This is what equity calculator is used 60% of time (I am). This function should be as easy than one can make it.

Note:
With poker stove I have always wondered why these relatively small usability tweaks are left to make. It almost like the programmers themselves are too good for needing this calculator :lol:

Side note:
When in hand and need for Equity Calculator PT is fired up. Then Equity Calculator is selected. After that PT is closed NOW also Equity Calculator is closed. User needs to open it again from taskbar. Too many clicks, maybe, I’m not sure, it feels like it though.


Side note2:
Equity Calculator and Hand Range Selector are “married” (linked). However, there are many situations when only Hand Range Selector is needed to get the idea about the card villain is holding. Rearranging should be thought carefully.

I'm confused - there is an exclude bar on the bottom right hand side:

Also those text boxes can be typed in so you could retype 7 instead of 15 and it would change to a 7% range when you hit enter.

You can also change the model used in the drop down - and even create new models so that you can have a polarized range if you would prefer.

Yes, what you say I tried to describe in:

Those boxes should, imo, be in front page (the Equity Calculator main page) next to “Sel”.

The usage of this tool, repetitively adding hand ranges could then be faster.

It helps to see the hand ranges, I agree, but for simulation it is not needed if one just needs quickly to simulate EV. Seeing hand ranges was also touched in my post side notes.
