Hand Replayer: disable autoload when active

I click my way to look at a recent hand history. Scroll down to see what was shown down. The current hand ends to a preflop raise and the history gets reloaded :cry:

Allow for "don't auto load in this hand history box while it's active", please. I could see that as a default option actually, and if someone is masochistic enough to want the autoload while he's actually scrolling and looking at a hand history he could disable it.

Or automatically untick the "autoload" checkbox when the history is activated, so I don't lose the open history if I need to act at another table. I could click a "go live" button or something when done reviewing, or just close the history.

Also, why not open the box (just) big enough to show the showdown hands... I'd think that's a big chunk of the usage of the window for most?

I will pass on your comments to the development team, but FWIW once you select a specific hand in the Hand History Viewer 'auto load' is disabled. That won't apply if you open the HHV to view the latest hand, of course. Most people want the HHV to update as new hands are imported, though.

I don't mind the auto-update, except when trying to scroll down to see the action on later streets or showdown cards of a hand. You can rarely see those in the default sized window (if you don't believe that, you should try playing FL where more than one street usually gets bet). I'd think when someone opens the HH box, or activates an open one, he's most often likely to be interested in studying the latest hand, so auto-update is a bit of a nuisance at that point. If I'm wrong, well, I'm only asking for an option for us who do that, not killing the way others might like to use the box.

Hey, I also really dislike the auto load option, and I'm not even sure why it's in there tbh. When looking at HH's during a session I always want to look at a specific one, not the next one that's going to be played. I would like there to be an option that you could turn that off completely.

As soon as you change to any other hand auto load should be turned off, is that not what you are seeing?

You're right, I made sure to look more closely during today's session. The autoload is turned off as long as I access the hands from the drop down menu off the hud, as opposed to activating the hand viewer directly and clicking back to whatever hand I was wondering about. Thanks

There's a recent DC vid where the pro uses HHV to review the hand. He says he's started to use it because it's easier to read the action. While reviewing, another hand finishes, he pops into a new hand. "... but it does this to me obviously sometimes."
He's on PT3 (mac) though.

I'm yet to see a video where someone says: "It's so cool that the HHV automatically updates to every new hand so I get to see lots of starting hands and stack sizes".

I believe once turned off it should stay off until the next time PT4 is loaded. I'm fairly certain there are people who use this functionality regularly, though it is possible they are not the people making videos.

Anywhoo, I just figured that I can handle this with AHK.
