MY list of no go´s / requests

I am a hem1 user and like it. Having said that,
PT4 overall has a much cooler feel to it and with a few improvements there is a high chance of me switching.
When i say me, i actually mean me and a couple friends, with the same thoughts/needs.

so here is my list of things i find missing in PT4

- ALIAS, making a non player based Alias and adding players to that is missing, while the current option is a littlebit annoying.

- RAKEBACK, in hem1 you can have different rakeback for different sites, which is usually the case. This can show you your close to exact earnings over time and for professionals that is very important.

- PRERAKE BB/100 is a stat.. i know is possible to create, but my tries so far have all shown strange results. i went step by step... adding the Rake + Winnings (got the correct Number) and then i devided by the amt_bb and then devided that by (cnt_hands/100)........... ((rake + amt_won) / amt_bb) / (cnt_hands /100)) ..... i also tried it with the lookup bb.. and the other formula where you go ((amt_won + rake) / bb) / hands * 100 both formulas work in real life application but not in pt4.
also it is tough to know the rake type for alll given sites... while that is probably not that hard to find out.. you would have to create a couple different PRERAKE BB/100 stats, which becomes slightly disturbing i guess.... (but it might be unavoidable) , would be nice to have ONE stat for that, that at least comes pretty close, since RAKEPAID = RAKEPAID

- RAKE BB/100, it would be nice to have a more easy way to see how the Rake calculation works in terms of understanding, how much is actually raked on which site


those 4 things are really KEY for me and a couple friends

Your alias request has been made previously - it would be a big change for us, but depending on user feedback it may be something we get to eventually.

Rakeback methods and calculations change very rapidly - we have the ability to build rakeback stats as custom stats in PT4 and if you tell me how your rakeback is calculated I'd be happy to help you build any stats you would need there.

The formula you gave - ((rake + amt_won) / amt_bb) / (cnt_hands /100)) looks like it should work. What kinds of results are you getting here? The reason for the different rake stats we have are because different rake methods are used for rakeback at different rooms - the amount of rake taken out of actual pots you won is Rake Taken, the amount of rake taken divided by your proportional contribution is Rake Contributed, etc.

I agree with Nastyhabit's statement about the aliases. would be much better to have a non player based alias.

the rakeback stat with the formula i took, works.. but
i have different rakeback on different sites... i play on around 10 sites...
in hem it was possible to put in RB for each site and see it in the graph at least.. this way you would know what you made in a given time period.

for my reports...
there is no:
- last month
- last year
- specific month

also, right now i tried to filter for yesterday - group by session.... and it always shows me all the tables i played instead of grouping them all as one.
i tried different configure option... but it is by no means obvious what this responds to or how you need to change it, to work the way you want.
i have tried many different stats and showed them at the same time to see the difference or which ones to take...
there is even a stat, that is something like hands/hr and it gives a value under or around 5.. which is probably IMPOSSIBLE in online poker


important note: hud is not properly working while playing 4 tables of 6max limit holdem on pokerstars. shows up and goes away kind of random

You can filter for specific dates and date ranges using the More Filters button in the Game Details area.

Which report grouped by session were you looking at? The default in both Overview and Summary should show you first all sessions grouped by time then, if you double click the row, show you sessions grouped by table.

In that 6max limit game, do your hands continue to import even when the HUD disappears?

hands still import... and for some players sometimes it continues to show the hud...

the reports i was talking about were:

statistics - group by date


what i did just now .. was to go to the results tab... with the original set up., it showed only 1 row with everything in it.
after i took off, the ev adjusted stuff.. and a few more of these stats.. leaving only the most basic stats in and adding MT ratio and hands/hr... it shows many rows again... each one probably being 1 table.


now if i take out the : hands/hr stat... it goes back to only 1 row... but i want to know how long i played and still only have 1 row.. for the graph in the below grid to show the whole thing

if i take REAL HOURS DATE
it shows what i want.... so basically it would be nice to have the stats a little more comprehensive...
sure, this one was not super hard to find out... but the problem was more in the why it switches to all tables or many rows when you change 1 stat, there is no explanation for that


edit 2:
now when i add MT ratio, it again switches to many rows showing each table seperately... and then MT ratio is 1 for each table obv... but i want this to show in 1 row for the whole day or month... and then also know how many tables i played on average... because i kind of know that when i played on 1 table and it shows that table in the stats, that the mt ratio is going to be 1....

2. on the account for filtering for last month.
i was not able to find out in the main filter where to do that... possibly you can do it in the more filters, but i think this is an essential thing to be QUICKLY accessible for professional players

i resolved the HUD problem.

it was , that in hud options i had put in:
filter for
5-6 players


my question though is... how does this work?
in hem , you can just say... for each number of players at the table, what sort of filter you want...
here, it does not say the number of players at the table, only what you want to filter for

If a stat refers to a session (like MT Ratio does) it can break up reports which aren't grouped by session. I will discuss with the development team whether it is possible to rework MT Ratio to work as you'd expect in By Date reports.

The Number of Players Filtered option will display stats from previous hands played with the number of players in the appropriate range, based on the current number of active players. Check out the PT3 Tutorial: Configuring HUD Options - Player Ranges works in the same way.

I'm told that the MT Ratio stat will only work correctly in reports grouped by session, so you won't be able to use it in other reports.

since all of my suggestions have not been met yet, i will say it again.

- Non-Player Alias to put all Screennames under

- Different Rakeback for different sites and the ability to display them in the graph.

- have a simple "last month" feature in the dates... instead of having to create a manual filter

- mucked cards option to only show the cards and also in different sizes

- maybe an option to display the pot odds (this is not overly necessary though)
