I cant find this so I assume its not in PT4 already. Would it be possible to have profiles where PT4 would save our customized reports etc. Then we could easily switch between different profiles. One when we do leakfinding and have all Advanced reports open with a bunch of customized reports/stats, then another profile for day2day quick overview, and so on.

To some degree I guess Basic/Advanced is exactly that, 2 different profiles. Might be able to do it with those 2, but if we could add another 1 or 2 next to these 2 it couldnt hurt.

That's an interesting suggestion - which reports do you find you want to configure multiple ways most often?

Well I like to customize each a bit. Having 2 profiles like its done now, Basic and Advanced is enough in theory. But I ran into problem when I want to go back to default, as I lose everything I have done with no way of going back. Same goes for switching computers or just setting up things for a friend. Let's not forget just reinstalling we lose it all again.

Another advantage to saving configured reports is in players/coaches/coaching sites, where they have customized reports ready to be used by their friends/students. Dont forget all the free marketing you get from the extra links for PT4 profiles. :-)

I dont know if you are familiar with Adobe Photoshop for example, they use so called "workplaces" where it saves the exact setup you use, so any adjustments you made from original. If PT4 could have such global profiles I wouldnt say no.

If you customize the reports that should stay when you update PT4. It's true about restoring the default though.

The other option is to create custom reports that meet your needs - have you tried the My Reports tab? We've included a wizard to help you get started with custom reports so it should be a lot more user friendly than the initial PT3 experience.
