Stars Observed Hands Limit

I know that there has always been a limit on observed hands on stars with the public PT3, but alpha always used to allow one to observe more hands for testing reasons. Should it not be the same with this beta release? I was running PT4 / stars and messing around with the setting to test everything out and obviously soon reached the limit and now am no longer able to do so.

Edit:- Should I be able to see the HUD come up / import observed hands on other sites? I have loaded up ipoker and getting nothing.

Edit 2:- Just another thought on observed hands limit. I don't like HEM2 has a limit and can import observed hands from all sites. Have stars changed their policy or are they just sailing close to the wind?

As far as I'm aware the limit on importing observed hands at PokerStars is unchanged, and PT4 will also respect that limit.

The HUD will appear once a hand has been imported, but for other sites that will only happen if the site writes hand histories while you're waiting to be dealt in. I thought that happened for iPoker, but I may be mistaken. Are hands importing?

iPoker does indeed start writing hand histories to hard drive when you sit down at the table (and when you're waiting to be dealt in), and the HUD should appear at that point.

Definitely not getting observed ipoker HH's, and thus not getting HUD coming up. Have the import directory config set to exactly the same as I have set it in PT3. Left running with table up for over 5 mins and nothing came up. I also have added my ipoker screen-name to the Alias list.

Edit: I can't remember if I used to be able to see observed hands on iPoker or not, and if I should be able to.

If you go to the Play Poker page, does the import widget on the lower right show any hands being imported while you observe? Does the import status show any indicator of it doing anything?

You will need to be seated and waiting to be dealt in - iPoker do not write hand histories for observed tables, only while you are waiting for the blinds.
