Break Database Up into smaller sizes

If I wanted to have my database split into the first 500k hands, and the most recent 500k hands, (or recent 200k out of 1M) would I see performance improvements? Would it be easier to manage?

Doing something like that would split up your hands so you will not see all of your data in your PokerTracker 4 reports at any one time. That also isn't a very large amount of hands however things can vary depending on the specifics of a setup and the use case scenario.
