Hi Everyone,

First, let me say that I am as frustrated as you are that providing a HUD on CoinPoker currently requires a $49/month converter subscription. This is NOT a satisfactory long-term solution, and it will NOT be the long-term solution.

Let me provide some background to explain what is happening.

1. There are many smaller poker sites in the market that do not write hand histories and therefore require a converter. Writing and maintaining these converters is tedious and time-consuming, as they require continual updates. Instead of building and maintaining converters for each site ourselves, we decided it was best to partner with an established team specializing in hand history converters.

2. When CoinPoker began gaining traction they did not write any hand histories. Our partnering company created a CoinPoker converter (as they do for many smaller sites). This converter is included with our Asian Hand Converter product.

3. During the Fall of 2025, as CoinPoker continued to grow, we began working with them to implement native hand histories. Based on those discussions, I was under the impression that hand histories would eventually be written in real time, in which case a converter would no longer be needed.

4. Around November or December 2025, CoinPoker released hand histories — but only for download post-game. When this happened:
(a) I was surprised, but still expected that real-time hand histories would follow.
(b) I realized that our temporary solution of requiring the Asian Hand Converter subscription was not sustainable. We attempted to negotiate with our converter partner to reduce the price. We were even willing to offer the converter at no profit to our company. Unfortunately, we have not made progress in reducing the current pricing, which leaves us where we are today.

I remain hopeful that CoinPoker will add real-time hand history support to their client soon, and I continue to have ongoing discussions with them. If that happens, no converter would be required and PokerTracker would support CoinPoker out of the box.

If that does not happen — or if it will take many more months — then we will either need to create our own converter or reach a more reasonable agreement with our partner.

The bottom line is that the current status quo is not acceptable, and we are actively working toward a better and more cost-effective solution. I will continue to keep you updated as we make progress and decisions are finalized.

Best regards,

Derek

I hope there are updates with the Coinpoker update... it's not just the price anymore, it's that many big pots, at least for me, they don’t even load or my hand doesn’t show up.

Thanks Derek. It's good to have this information, but why did it take so long? For years we were just given non-answers and left in the dark unsure of whether PT would ever be compatible with Coin Poker.

Why is it that a product like Hand2Note supported Coin Poker so easily?

Does the new Coin Poker update released today allow PT a native HUD out of the box?

CoinPoker have confirmed with me that real-time hand histories will be out in the next release (after today's March 2nd release). I was given a time table of about two weeks.

Once that's released, we'll then need to make sure everything works correctly and most likely release a new version of PT4.

At which point, CoinPoker converters should no longer be needed! :)

I subscribe to the converter through EliteHud.com and I am now getting the following error message with their latest update today. I can't get CoinPoker to run until I close the CoinPoker Hud. Anyone else having this issue? I hope you are right about this being resolved soon and no longer needing the converter.

Hello,
Coinpoker recently updated the graphics of the tables.
Are there any plans to update PT for the new CoinPoker template?
Thanks.

PokerTracker 4 will be updated for CoinPoker when they add real-time hand histories. If you are using a HUD at the moment via a hand converter then you can move the HUD to new locations on the table by holding the Control key while dragging the HUD or you can click the PT-icon and select 'Unlock Layout' to move the HUD around on the table without the need to hold the Control key. When you have your HUD placed where you want on the table you should save it by clicking the PT-icon and choosing 'Save Layout' so the new HUD positions are remembered for future tables of the same type:
