Date filter in Preferences tab does not work

Hi.

I can only view my results for my entire database and cannot filter them by date. Every time i try to change the date in the 'preferences' tab, and then go to the 'general info' tab, there are no results, however when i go back and select 'all dates', it shows my entire database once i go back to the 'general info' tab again. Is there any way to make my database be able to filter by date?
