Party sng e-mail import

PT v2.17.01g,
"check e-mail"
"Get HHs From E-mail" (Import)
has always worked before, became intermittent (50/50 chance of it working after pc restart) and now never works giving me the following Error message when I click 'import':

Error: Access violation at 0x112CEA1D (tried to read from 0x00024077), program terminated

and it closes PT.

What to do...

Are you using Vista?
What email program do you use?
What email address was used to register PT? I have no record of this one you used for the forum.

Outlook Express

Make sure Outlook Express is the default mail program. From the Tools menu select Options and make sure that the "Make Default" button next to the "Default Mail Handler" section is disabled. If it's enabled, click on it and make it the default.

If that doesn't work, you should be able to use POP3 instead which won't rely on the mail program being used.
