Quick Question!

Postby Charging Bulll » Wed Mar 26, 2008 11:34 am

I just got a new computer (both old and new are running XP). I need to move all my PT stuff (I think I just have 'My First Pokertracker Database' with Pokerstars and Full Tilt stats) over to the new one.

I already installed PT on the new one - I just need to move everything over (I want to have all my old data). How do I do this?

Fantastic.

I went ahead and did that, and then opened PT on my new pc... immediately I got some error, saying that I have negative hands in my database or something, because after the Full Tilt hands go past a certain number, PT makes them negative because the area it uses for these is not big enough (I'm obv. paraphrasing). It then asked if I wanted it to go in and change these negative numbers. I hit 'no' as I didn't want to do anything before asking.

I closed PT, then reopened it a minute later and did not get the same error.

Can you please tell me what is going on here? And how I can fix this?

Was this a PostgreSQL database or Access database that you are using?

It's not an error you got but a message asking you if you wanted to fix the negative games numbers. You shouldn't have gotten this message though if you weren't getting it on the db you copied...either that, or you were using a very old version on the old computer and a newer one on the new computer.

You aren't getting the question again because you told it before you didn't want to fix the problem.

Do you want to fix the numbers now?? If you do, you need to copy the file over again and then answer yes this time when prompted.
