Cannot find database

Postby Illsavemyself » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:03 am

I made the mistake yesterday of shutting down the PC whilst the hand histories were compacting. Today when I try and open Poker Tracker (I have version 2.16.03d, not sure if that is most up to date as not used in a while) I get, "could not find file 'C:\Program Files\Poker Tracker V2\hhdb.mdb'

I tried to repair the database in Data Sources (ODBC) in the Control Panel but all that gets me is the extra message when I click "OK" to the above of a login screen, login name of "admin" and asking for a password.

How do I fix this?

If it helps at all I have no hands currently on PT that I need to keep. I am starting afresh.

Should add that after I click cancel on the admin login part I get the message

"Unable to connect to hand history database, 100 - no data was found to satisfy the request"

then it shuts PT down.

Are you using Vista on this computer?
In the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder, is there a file called hhcopy.mdb there?

Rename the hhcopy.mdb file to hhdb.mdb and try running PT again.
