Open the Utilities > PostgreSQL Settings window. What value is in the "ODBC Entry to use" field?

That's the encoding field, I need to know what is selected in the "ODBC Entry to use" field. And that field should be UNICODE not ANSI anyway.

I changed it to UNICODE and its good now, my bad for this...

Its back

for ODBC I have PosteSQL Unicode

open the File > Maintain Database Names window, click the Add button, enter a description, check the "Dflt" box and in the last field choose "Select existing PostgreSQL database". On the window that opens select the PostgreSQL database. Then click OK to save all changes. CLOSE AND REOPEN POKER TRACKER.

I don't know what else to tell you then. You'll have to edit the hand history file that is causing this error, find the player name which causes it and do a global search/replace to change the name (remove the non-English characters, like changing "pičo" to "pico" and then saving the file and doing the import.
