Full Tilt Tournament Summaries

Postby HeroInBlack » Sun Sep 07, 2008 9:16 am

Okay, so apparently poker tracker now imports those partial tournament summaries that Full Tilt generates when you close the client. I like that. I had been having to manually go into those text files and enter my results for each tournament.

But now that poker tracker automatically pulls in those partial tournament summaries, even though it has my data and the data of everyone that finished below me, these tournaments are showing up as "tournaments with no summaries loaded." I have the data I want, mine, but apparently "tournaments with no summaries loaded" are those with either no finishing data or with more than just mine.

I don't understand how only having my finishing data makes a tournament not show up as not having a summary, but if it has my data and about 2/3 of the rest of the field's data then it has no summary officially.

Is there a setting I can change or something where it will only import my finishing data, because that's really all I need in my database.

Thanks a lot!

This is PT2, yes?
You would be better asking PT2 questions in the PT2 section, so I'll move this.

I read an answer from Pat about this a while ago, and IIRC it is because the summary is not complete until ALL the finishing positions are imported, but if you close the lobby before the tournament is over then you don't get full results.
BUT if PT2 counted the summary as complete, then it wouldn't continue to read further results, and there is no way of knowing if further results will become available until first place is recorded.

Sorry, I was reading in the PT2 forum, and I guess when I went in to post I hit the wrong link.

But see the problem is now that I either have to find out the finishers of those tourneys above me, which is impossible as far as I know, and type every single one of them in, or I have to go in and individually delete every single person but myself. I'd rather it not import those summaries and let me type in my results only, since it calls that a summary.

Either way, I'm screwed. Obviously there is something everyone else is doing that I don't know about.

If you mean it's still telling you the summary hasn't been loaded then either ignore the message or go to the File > Tournament Summaries... > Full Tilt window, make a change to one of the fields in the lower left corner of the window, save it, change it back, save it again and then PT will mark the summary as completed because you have manually changed something.

Ahhhhhh... okay.

I didn't properly identify that it was whether or not something had been manually entered that was changing the status from not having a summary to having a summary.

Thanks, Pat. You da man.
