Party WCR/PPs

The custom stats are very inaccurate. It'd be highly appreciated if s/o could fix them.

PP is WCR*2 but it seems the WCR formula is inaccurate itself.

I heard that the stat HEM uses is quite accurate, but I don't know what formula they use.

Which stat are you using? There's a weighted contributed rake stat available here for free download that should work properly for you.

I'm using the ones from the custom stats repository which say WCR(yes: weighted contributed rake) and Party Points one (which is just WCR*2).
They turned out to be farely inaccurate.

Is this a different one in your link?

ok I just tested it.

It puts out the same amount as "akiely's" "WCR" stat in the repository.

They're both the same and they're both quite inaccurate (for PartyPoker at least), as pointed out by some pokerstrategy members.

Then can you tell me how Party calculates it? That stat shows you the following:

Sum of: (Total Amount Bet / Total Pot Size) * Amount Taken out of the Pot as Rake.

one idea I have, what might be the problem:

Does PT3 make a difference between normal rake and additional BBJ-Rake!? --> You don't get extra partypoints for BBJ, so it should be its own category!

Unfortunately Party don't specify the BBJ in their hand histories, and we don't have anywhere to store alternative rakes in PT3. This is under discussion to see if we can implement something in PT4.

Yes that would be very appreciated if it was in PT4. I mean Rake and BBJ Rake are entirely different things (and I think BBJ rake on party is huge) and you only get rakeback for normal Rake...!

If you can implement this in PT4, it would really be nice!

Btw. it can't be too hard...: it's true that Partypoker HHs do not explicitely tell you, how much of the rake was BBJ rake. But the table names in the HHs clearify if you are playing a BBJ table and their policy in terms of taking BBJ rake hasn't changed for years and it's very easy to calculate ( i think it's like exactly $0.25 for every flop seen, or something like that, I can look that one up if you want). Of course I see that there is more to it than just that, in terms of programming...

It's something we have been considering but we cannot guarantee that it's something we'll get to. If we're going to do it we want to be able to do it perfectly, and that requires quite a bit of work and a nontrivial amount of testing.
