Auto-rate

Postby Harnas31 » Sat Dec 17, 2011 5:40 am

I want to have seperate rules for full ring, 6max and heads-up.
But it looks like The rules for these three types of cash games can't stay at the same time.
When I change Criteria tab to 6 max , the rules I see are from full ring.

For me it looks like When I play 6 max I have to import rules for 6 max , when I play full ring I have to import rules for full ring.
So basicly if I play full ring and 6 max at the same time I dont have diffrent rules for diffrent game, but at the same time only one type of rules applies.
right ?

Yes, there is just one set of auto rate rules - auto rate icons can only really give you quite a simplified view of your opponents, and for players which play different table sizes it will be somewhat less reliable. We're replacing Auto Rate icons with a more powerful system in PT4 and I will make sure that the development team consider this issue - thanks.

I have just noticed that on rules tab there is GAME box divided on holdem, and omaha.
When we change to omaha, rules change as well.
There could be 6max holdem, full ring holdem,headsup- holdem omaha 6 max, omaha FR, etc
At least than I wouldnt have to import/export everytime , just chnage the tab in the game box. :)
Is it possible that PT3 will be upgraded to this idea or no more upgrates to PT3 because of PT4 coming?

Holdem and Omaha stats are completely separate in PT3 so it's easier to split the rules that way - it wouldn't be simple to do the same thing for 6-max and full ring, etc.
PT3 development will continue, but will be mostly bug fixes rather than new features - when you try PT4 out I don't think you'll want to come back to PT3!
