OK, so I'm only using a fraction of PT3's abilities and I'd like to get more comfortable with making custom reports. The one I'm thinking about doing will basically filter only the hands where I open-raised from the btn with less than 30bb. I'd like to see the hand number, date, amount won etc. I'd also like to be able to filter within this report, for times I saw a flop (and maybe within that filter include times I cbet).


Most of it seems relatively straight forward from the custom reports documentation, but I'm guessing I will first need to make a custom statistic for "open raising from btn with <30bb). The main problem I'm thinking I will have is that some of these stats will be under "holdem tournament player statistics" and some under "holdem tournament hand" -- How do I reference a stat from another "section?"

Your report will list the hands that you want to filter to, yes?
So the report will be in the Holdem Cash Hands section, and any stats you use will have to be in that section.

You're right that you will need to build a stat for "open raising from btn with <30bb". This will have to be a boolean (true or false) stat in the Holdem Cash Hand section (so not using SUM (if[]) like your HUD stats do, because it refers to a single hand).
Once you have built this stat you will be able to filter on it using the 'Filters' link in the report config area.

Yes, although this will be for tournaments so I'm guessing tournaments holdem hand will be the section.

Could you explain how to set up a boolean stat?

Right I'm assuming the stat will be something like the following:

IF[holdem_hand_player_startistics.position = 0 AND steal_att = true AND amt_blind >= 50, 1, 0]

and for times where I cbet flop:

IF[holdem_hand_player_startistics.position = 0 AND steal_att = true AND f_cbet=true AND amt_blind >= 50, 1, 0]

ok, I've made a little progress -- I don't need to add position into the stat because I can filter the report by "position=0" So I just added a "flg_steal_att" to the tournament holdem hand column (expression: tourney_holdem_hand_player_statistics.flg_steal_att) -- and a "ATS" in the statistics (expression is just "flg_steal_att").

That works fine, but it is including all the times I just shoved from the button -- when I'd really like to see the times I open raised 2-3bb.


How can I do this? I don't see a multiplier in the opperators -- just > < = etc

I think the database field you need is:
holdem_hand_player_detail.val_p_raise_made_pct

That's the percentage of the pot that you raised preflop.

So for example, if it's an open raise, and you raise 3.5BB val_p_raise_made_pct = 100. You should be able to extend this to whatever value you need and capture just the hands you're looking for.
