I've read that an Ace will hit the flop approximately 30% of the time. In my own experience on PS, it seems to hit more often. I realize the sample has to be large enough to get an accurate stat. I would like to be able to filter for this in PT3, but I can't see how to do it. I've searched here for some info, but can't find anything. Has anyone done this, or know how?

You would have to create a Custom Stat for this. You could create a stat in the 'holdem cash player statistics' section, and count how many of a player's hands had an ace on the flop - remember to only count those hands where you see a flop.
The flop cards are stored in the database as:
holdem_hand_summary.card_1
holdem_hand_summary.card_2
holdem_hand_summary.card_3

I have been working on this custom stat. Its been a steep learning curve, but I'm starting to understand the process a little better. So far I have been able to produce a stat that I can use in custom reports that will list players seeing the flop and whether or not an ace hit as a true false statement. However, I'm only able to get that info on one board card. The problem I'm having is

1. I'm not able to insert holdem_hand_summary.card_1 along with card 2 and 3. The validation says this is incorrect.
So what I have done is use only card_1 in the column and in the stat use the expression card_1 =13 (for ace of hearts). This works but it only tells me if board card 1 is the ace of hearts or not.

2. In the stats, I'm not able to use the expression card_ = 13, 26, 39, 52 for all 4 aces.

In summary, I need to know how to include all flop cards in the column and include all suites of aces in the stats.

Any help would be appreciated

You will need to use "OR".
card_1=13 OR card_1=26 OR ...
You could extend this to
...OR card_2=13 OR card_3=13
etc.

Okay! That was the missing piece of the puzzle. Here is a screen shot of the report at its current stage of development. Within Custom Reports I have used simple filters to arrive at big pairs since its these pairs that an ace on the flop might make a big difference. Any suggestions on how this stat or report can become more useful? ie. a percent stat etc
