Hello,

I have tried uninstalling Postgres but I get the following message:

"There has been an error:

The uninstall-postgresql.dat file cannot be found and is required to uninstll the application, aborting"

If I try a reinstall I get the following message:

"A data directory is registered in ***unknown Variable postgresqlini*** but is neither empty, or a recognisable data directory."

If I try and run pokertracker I get the following message:

unable to login to database (PT4_xxxx_xx_xx_xxxxxx) - reason:could not connect to server:connection refused(0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCPT/IP connection on port 5432?

Nothing seems to be working. Can't uninstall, can't reinstall, can't connect. What should I do?

That sounds like your PostgreSQL installation is pretty messed up. If the uninstall guide here doesn't help you uninstall PostgreSQL please open a Support Ticket with a link to this thread and request a remote session and we'll work with you directly to help you get things working.
