1. What do I need to become an affiliate?
Nothing!, except your desire to be an affiliate. You don't even need a website, you can promote PokerTracker via search engines, a blog, wall postings on Facebook, Twitter, or any other socially acceptable method which allows you to share your affiliate link. All you need to do is to send a visitor to our site via a special link (called 'affiliate link'), if that visitor decides to buy any PokerTracker software or services within 120 days of clicking on the link you will get a 30% commission on the total price of the sale.
2. How do I know I will be paid for my referral?
The affiliate program server uses PostAffiliatePro, a leading affiliate tracking software.
PostAffiliatePro uses a combination of cookies and IP address to track referrals to assure your referrals are attributed to your affiliate tracker.
When the visitor follows your affiliate link to our site, our affiliate server registers this referral and places a cookie in the visitor's browser cache.
If the visitor buys any software of services from pokertracker within a 120 day period the affiliate server checks for this cookie and credits your account for 30% of the value of the sale once the purchase has been approved. If a cookie cannot be found, the affiliate server will cross reference the IP address to determine if you can receive credit for the sale.
This process is absolutely automatic. All your referrals will be properly tracked.
3. How is the payment handled?
Payments are issues in US dollars, and are paid on a monthly basis on the first business day after the fifh of the month.
You can choose if you want to be paid by PayPal or MoneyBookers, the minimum balance required to process the payment is $50.
PokerTracker offers all users a sixty day trial period. To avoid charge-backs and negative commissions all sales are verified 60 days after the sale is registered prior to processing commissions.
4. How do I set up an account?
Setting up an account is very easy and it's completely FREE. To get started visit the Signup Form and fill it out. Our affiliate manager will review your application within 24 hours, once approved you will receive a confirmation email. Once you become a PokerTracker affiliate you will have access to a vast set of campaign reporting tools where you can see detailed statistics of traffic and sales you referred, and your choice of banners and text links.
5. What is the affiliate link?
The affiliate link is a special URL which allows the PokerTracker affiliate server to track the sales of your refereed customers, and attribute a percentage of the sale to you as your commission. Each banner tag or link has a unique tracking identifier, to assure that your commissions are properly logged the URL should not be altered.
6. Can I promote you through pay-per-click search engines or ad servers?
YES! You can promote us through pay-per-click search engines provided that you follow the terms and conditions of the advertising server or search engine you chose to work with
PokerTracker reserves the right to terminate your affiliate account if your actions jeopardize the good standing of the PokerTracker brand - we only wish to work with affiliates which can bring business to PokerTracker in positive ways. We do not want to work with spammers or affiliates which promote ideals which we feel may damage the good standing of PokerTracker products in the online poker community.
